Terms of Service

LotScribe is an AI-powered platform that generates vehicle listing descriptions based on information you provide (VIN, vehicle details, preferences). The Service includes a web application, API access (where applicable), and related features.

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration and to update it as needed. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

LotScribe offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees associated with that plan. All payments are processed through Stripe.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Generate content that is fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, or deceptive
• Misrepresent vehicle conditions, features, or history in generated listings
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI models or algorithms
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service beyond its intended use
• Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service

The descriptions generated by LotScribe are created using artificial intelligence and are provided on an "as-is" basis. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before publishing or distributing it.
• We do not guarantee that generated descriptions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• You are responsible for ensuring that any listing you publish complies with applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies (including FTC guidelines, state advertising laws, and marketplace terms).
• We are not liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use or publication of AI-generated content.

Our IP: The Service, its design, features, code, and branding are owned by RoarCreative LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the vehicle information you provide and the generated descriptions you receive. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

If you use team features, the account owner is responsible for all activity by invited team members. Team seats are governed by your subscription plan limits. We reserve the right to suspend team access if usage exceeds plan limits or violates these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoarCreative LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoarCreative LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your publication of generated content.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Account settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Disclaimer of Warranties, and Indemnification) will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
